Mon HealthCare inks joint venture with medical equipment maker

The equipment and supplies unit of Morgantown, W.Va.-based Mon HealthCare struck a joint-venture deal with Dasco Home Medical Equipment, a Westerville, Ohio-based maker of durable medical equipment.

The joint venture — Mon Health-Dasco Home Medical Equipment — aims to expand Mon Health’s access to better pricing and fee collection. It also will grow the organization’s reach across North Central West Virginia.

“Ensuring timely access always to our valued patients that entrust their care to our well-regarded Mon Health providers and programs in the communities we serve is our priority,” David Goldberg, president and CEO of Mon Health System, said in a July 9 news release.
