The deal includes Affera’s cardiac mapping and navigation platform, which will be a first for Medtronic, and multiple catheter products.
“This acquisition marks an important growth milestone for our cardiac ablation portfolio,” Rebecca Seidel, president of Medtronic’s Cardiac Ablation Solutions business, said in a news release.
