Medline to Partner with University of Rochester, Open Distribution Facility

The University of Rochester (N.Y.) Medical Center has selected Mundelein, Ill.-based Medline as its prime vendor distributor.

The agreement is expected to be worth $250 million over five years, according to a news release.

Additionally, Medline plans to open a new distribution center in Brockport, N.Y., to better serve URMC and other healthcare providers in the region, according to the news release. The 260,000 square-foot distribution center is scheduled to open in September.
