Medline is now the exclusive distributor of Applied Silver’s SilvaClean laundry service to healthcare facilities in the U.S. and Canada, the company announced Oct. 18 . The Environmental Protection Agency approved the public health claims for SilvaCean to reduce post-laundry contamination, actively fighting against Staphylococcus aureus six hours after contact and Klebsiella pneumoniae three hours after of contact.
Medline announced Oct. 22 it also secured a three-year group purchasing distribution for lab distribution services with Premier, effective Jan. 1. The partnership gives Premier members special pricing and terms pre-negotiated by the lab distributor services.
