McKesson, Infor form go-to-market partnership: 3 things to know

McKesson Enterprise Information Solutions and Infor, a business application developer, have collaborated to form a strategic go-to-market partnership.

Here are three things to know.

1. The partnership aims to improve customer choice and help healthcare organizations better manage and reduce supply chain costs, the companies said.

2. As part of the collaboration, Infor, which acquired Lawson Software in 2012, will offer customers and prospects McKesson Strategic Supply Sourcing, a cloud-based supply chain procurement solution, according to a news release. Additionally, under the partnership, McKesson EIS will offer Infor CloudSuite Healthcare, a comprehensive suite of healthcare applications including financial, human capital and supply chain management capabilities.

3. The companies said augmenting EIS solutions with Infor CloudSuite Healthcare "will enable EIS to further modernize its ERP portfolio and support customer evolution to cloud-based services."
