Hospital bed company LINET buys majority stake in BORCAD Medical

LINET Group, a leading manufacturer of hospital beds, purchased an 80 percent stake in BORCAD Medical.

BORCAD Medical, which supplies birthing beds and gynecological chairs, will be managed as a separate company within LINET group, according to the report. Both companies are located in the Czech Republic.

“With this strategic acquisition, we will strengthen our product portfolio and thereby gain access to new market segments,” said Zbyněk Frolík, managing director of LINET Group.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
