The Healthcare Supply Chain Association named Jennifer Gedney, Children’s Hospital Association vice president of supply chain services, chair of Board of Directors, the organization said Jan. 4.
Ms. Gedney replaces Vizient President and Chief Operating Officer Bharat Sundaram, who will serve as Immediate Past Chair.

"Jennifer’s expertise and dedication will help HSCA and its members navigate the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic at a critical moment for the healthcare system, allowing healthcare providers to focus on their core mission: providing first-class patient care."
Michelle Pleiness, vice president of member development at HPS, will serve as the board's treasurer and secretary.
