Hackers allegedly attacked Minneapolis-based Medtronic, Natick, Mass.-based Boston Scientific and St. Paul, Minn.-based St. Jude Medical, according to the report.

The attacks occurred in the early half of 2013 and may have lasted for several months, according to the report.

None of the companies have disclosed any breach on patient data.

An anonymous source “close to the companies” said the companies were unaware of the attacks until they were contacted by federal authorities. The companies have now assembled task forces to investigate the breaches, according to the report.
