GHX awards health systems, leaders for supply chain performance

Global Healthcare Exchange announced the winners of its annual GHXcellence Awards May 13.

The awards recognize organizations and individuals who are “leading with purpose, strengthening the foundation of healthcare, and building more resilient, patient-centered supply chains,” GHX said in a news release.

Award-winning organizations:

  • Collaboration and partnership: Corewell Health (Grand Rapids and Southfield, Mich.)
  • Elevating the clinically integrated supply chain: Beth Israel Lahey Health (Burlington, Mass.)
  • Operational excellence in healthcare supply chain:
    • Provider: UPMC (Pittsburgh)
    • Supplier: Allergan Aesthetics, an AbbVie company
  • Innovation in healthcare supply chain: Cleveland Clinic
  • Sustainability in the healthcare supply chain: Stanford Medicine (Palo Alto, Calif.)

Individual winners:

  • Supply chain leadership, provider: Jason Moulding, chief supply chain officer, MultiCare Health System (Tacoma, Wash.)
  • Supply chain leadership, supplier: Carlene Meyer, senior operations manager, e-commerce and customer support, Karl Storz

Merit-based organizational awards:

  • Provider of the year, large: Loma Linda (Calif.) University Health
  • Provider of the year, medium: San Antonio Regional Hospital
  • Provider of the year, small: Contra Costa Health Services (Martinez, Calif.)
  • Provider of the year, Canadian: Health PEI (Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island)
  • Supplier of the year, large: Johnson & Johnson
  • Supplier of the year, medium: Olympus Corp. Americas
  • Supplier of the year, Canadian: Medline Canada Corp.

The merit-based winners were evaluated on 2025 GHX performance metrics, and all other winners were nomination-based and selected by a committee of leading healthcare influencers and GHX executives.
