FEMA has reimbursed Connecticut more than $649 million so far for “pandemic-related expenses,” according to an April 10 news release. The agency said its public assistance program “is an essential source of funding for states and communities recovering from a federally declared disaster or emergency.”
The COVID-19 public health emergency is expected to end May 11.
