FDA approves Allergan's Botox for forehead wrinkles: 3 things to know

The Food and Drug Administration on Tuesday approved a new use for Botox treatment.

1. Botox may now be used for the temporary improvement of moderate to severe forehead lines.

2. The drug is already approved for use with crow's feet lines and glabellar lines, also known as eyebrow wrinkles.

3. Botox represents the first neurotoxin treatment approved for use in three facial treatment areas.
