Ex-manager guilty of stealing $53K from medical supplier

A former manager of a medical supply company in Buffalo, N.Y., pleaded guilty Oct. 16 to stealing $53,570 from the company, according to WKBW Buffalo.

Kendyce Rupe was the manager of Respiratory Services of Western New York, where she stole cash and altered checks that she then deposited into her own bank account. She also filed falsified bank deposits for customer checks to avoid getting caught by the company.

Ms. Rupe pleaded guilty to one count of grand larceny and one count of falsifying business records.

She will be sentenced in January 2020 and faces up to seven years in prison.
