CVS Health tapped Kevin Hourican to serve as president of CVS Pharmacy, the company announced April 16.
Here are four things to know.
1. In his role, Mr. Hourican will oversee the CVS Pharmacy team and bring innovative solutions to one of the nation's largest retail pharmacy chains.
2. Mr. Hourican most recently served as the executive vice president of retail pharmacy at CVS Pharmacy, directly managing all aspects of the company's retail pharmacy business.
3. "We're pleased to have Kevin at the helm of CVS Pharmacy," said Jon Roberts, COO of CVS Health. "He has a proven track record of bringing innovative new programs and services to our patients and a strong ability to lead our retail pharmacy team."
4. Prior to joining CVS Health in 2012, Mr. Hourican served in executive leadership roles at retail giants Macy's and Sears.
