CHC Supply Trust now serving more than 100 hospitals

Community Hospital Corporation Supply Trust now serves more than 100 hospitals, providing group purchasing organization access and supply chain management support to community hospitals, the company said May 10

The company now provides GPO access to 101 community hospitals through its partnership with HealthTrust Purchasing Group, which began in 2010. 

Community Hospital Corporation said the COVID-19 pandemic spurred significant growth for its CHC Supply Trust, which provided personal protective equipment and other medical supplies to hospitals facing shortages. 

“The pandemic demonstrated that hospitals must optimize their supply chain to better prepare for disruptions, reduce supply chain waste and help offset COVID-related costs. We continue to fulfill PPE demands based on the pandemic,” Jon Pruitt, senior vice president for CHC Supply Trust, said in a news release.
