Cardinal Health to construct new distribution center in South Carolina

Cardinal Health plans to build a new distribution center in Greenville, S.C., that, at 350,000 square feet, will be the biggest site dedicated to its at-Home Solutions business.

The facility is expected to be completed between late 2024 and mid-2025, the medical supply company said June 15. It has the capacity to serve all 50 states, but Cardinal Health said the site is mainly for customers in Alabama, Georgia, North Carolina, Louisiana, Missouri, South Carolina and Virginia.

The at-Home Solutions business currently ships about 55,000 packages per day among its 10 facilities, and with the new distribution center, that figure is predicted to increase to 63,000.
