The new facility will replace Cardinal Health’s current facility in Obetz, Ohio, according to a March 30 news release from the healthcare services company. The building is expected to be fully operational this year or early next year. Cardinal is partnering on the project with Duke Realty, Columbus Regional Airport Authority and Capitol Square.
“We’re building a new warehouse to meet both our customers’ current and future needs,” stated James Sembrot, senior vice president of U.S. supply chain at Cardinal Health. “The new facility is part of a multiyear strategy to increase U.S. warehouse capacity with expanded inventory space.”
