Under the deal, Medical Service Co. acquired Beaumont’s six medical home equipment offices. The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
The sale is the third post-acute care business divestiture by Beaumont this year, according to the report.
In January, Beaumont sold 90 percent of its home health and hospice business to Kettering, Ohio-based Alternate Solutions Health Network, a for-profit provider.
