Becton, Dickinson and Co. opened an innovation center and its first university-housed research location on the University of Maryland's BioPark campus in Baltimore Sept. 27.
The innovation center will "help streamline clinical laboratory workflows and improve patient care" while "allowing students and researchers to provide real-world feedback on early diagnostic concepts," the medtech company said in a news release.
