AHRMM kicks off healthcare supply chain week

National Healthcare Supply Chain Week, sponsored by the Association for Healthcare Resource and Materials Management, recognizes the crucial role supply chain professionals play in delivering high-quality patient care while reducing costs for their organization. This year, the celebration takes place Oct. 7-13.

The theme of SC Week 2018 is “healthcare supply chain: innovation through collaboration.”

AHRMM encouraged hospitals to submit a photo, infographic, video or article of their staff members embodying this year’s theme of innovation and collaboration. Various content will be featured on AHRMM’s website, Twitter, LinkedIn and YouTube pages throughout the week.

The website also has a list of more than 15 ways hospital leaders can honor their supply chain staff this week.
