Abbott recalls imaging catheters 

Abott recalled 4,800 Dragonfly OpStar imaging catheters May 26 due to the marker band becoming loose and, in two instances, separating from the device.

The FDA classified the recall as a class 1, the most serious type. There have been five incidents and one injury related to this device issue. No deaths have been reported.
