7 hospitals, health systems recognized by GHX for supply chain excellence

Global Healthcare Exchange announced May 26 the recipients of its 20th annual GHXcellence Awards.

GHX reinvented the awards this year to recognize providers, suppliers and individuals that went above and beyond to support patients and communities during the COVID-19 pandemic by exhibiting supply chain excellence.

"These leaders set the tone for what a value-driven healthcare supply chain should operate like —  one that’s grounded in collaboration, servant leadership and innovation," Bruce Johnson, CEO of GHX, said in a news release.

GHX said it chose the winners based on a combination of performance metrics. Winners were chosen by a committee of GHX executives and healthcare influencers.
