GHX reinvented the awards this year to recognize providers, suppliers and individuals that went above and beyond to support patients and communities during the COVID-19 pandemic by exhibiting supply chain excellence.
“These leaders set the tone for what a value-driven healthcare supply chain should operate like — one that’s grounded in collaboration, servant leadership and innovation,” Bruce Johnson, CEO of GHX, said in a news release.
GHX said it chose the winners based on a combination of performance metrics. Winners were chosen by a committee of GHX executives and healthcare influencers.
Seven hospitals and health systems recognized by GHX:

3. UCSF Health (San Francisco) — Community Impact Award & U.S. Healthcare Provider of the Year (Large)
