4 latest FDA approvals

Here are the four latest drugs or medical devices approved by the FDA since Dec. 1.

1. Admelog is a short-acting insulin used to control blood sugar levels in adults and children older than three after they consume food.

2. Ozempic is a once-weekly injection used to improve glycemic control in adults with Type 2 diabetes.

3. The Vercise Deep Brain Stimulation System is an implantable device that stimulates a region of the brain to treat some of the symptoms of Parkinson's disease.

4. Ogivri is a biosimilar cancer drug approved to treat patients with breast or metastatic stomach cancer.
