3 latest FDA approvals

Here are the three latest drugs approved by the Food and Drug Administration since Oct. 23.

1. Shingrix is a nonlive, recombinant subunit shingles vaccine for adults age 50 and older.

2. Soliris may now also be used to treat adults with generalized myasthenia gravis, an autoimmune disorder that affects the body’s intramuscular system.

3. Calquence is used to treat adults with mantle cell lymphoma after a prior treatment has failed.
