Cleveland Clinic, Mexico health system form joint advisory council

Cleveland Clinic and Tijuana, Mexico-based Hospital Angeles Health System have formed a joint advisory council to improve clinical and business operations across safety, quality and patient experience.

Hospital Angeles is a private health system that comprises 27 hospitals, according to an Oct. 10 news release.

Under the partnership, Cleveland Clinic will provide Hospital Angeles with access to its experts for practical guidance regarding staff engagement and education, clinical quality improvements support, patient experience and operational efficiencies.

“We are excited about the partnership between Hospital Angeles and Cleveland Clinic,” Jesus Ruiz, CEO of Hospital Angeles Health System, said in the release. “Our two institutions are driven by a common vision of excellence in quality and patient experience. By working together, we will further advance and elevate our standards of care.”
