The name change “reflects our current and future commitment to the kids of Wisconsin,” the health system said in a statement. It also indicates the wide scope of services offered by the organization, including hospital locations, clinics, community health services and insurance plans.

On formal documents, the organization will retain its official name, Children’s Hospital and Health System, according to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.

The health system will roll out the name change in phases, beginning with a rebranding of its websites and social media. Signage and other marketing materials will be updated over the next two years.
