The hotel and housing development are being planned “in close consultation with Northside,” according to the report.
The housing development would include 336 apartments adjacent to the hospital and create a “pedestrian-oriented environment” with room for commercial space. It would also include a “luxury clubhouse” and fitness area, swimming pool and outdoor deck, according to the report.
Marietta, Ga.-based Lynwood Development Group presented the plans to the city council this week. Atlanta-based architecture firm Smallwood, Reynolds, Stewart, Stewart & Associates is designing the hotel.
