Martin Gavin, CEO of Connecticut Children’s Medical Center, said the goal of the investment is to position CCMC as “the children’s hospital of southern New England,” according to the report.
The news broke soon after the hospital announced plans to align services with Shriners Hospitals for Children in Springfield, Mass.
