Novant Health Launches Branding Strategy to Unify Facilities

Winston-Salem, N.C.-based Novant Health announced a new branding plan and logo as part of its strategic plan to unify its 13 acute-care facilities, more than 100 outpatient facilities and more than 350 physician practice facilities across four states.

Novant Health created a new logo.Under the strategic branding campaign, as of April 17 all facilities will include the name "Novant Health" and a facility locator to reflect the consistent quality at all Novant Health sites of care. For example, Forsyth Medical Center will change its name to Novant Health Forsyth Medical Center. In addition, Novant Health developed a new logo that all facilities will adopt throughout 2013.

Novant Health's branding strategy aligns with its overall strategy of delivering remarkable care, according to the news release. "We have made significant progress to transform healthcare, but the next, logical step in our journey is to tie our system together," said Carl Armato, president and CEO of Novant Health, in the news release.
