Methodist Hospital System to Change Name

The Methodist Hospital System, based in Houston, will change its name to Houston Methodist July 16, according to a Houston Business Journal report.

The name change is intended to reflect the system’s pride in being from Houston and signal the high value of Methodist hospitals in the area, according to the report.
