The rebranding is intended to strengthen the clinical connection between the hospitals, which are located “within a two-hour radius” of one another, according to a news release.
The seven hospitals are:
• Bayfront Health Brooksville (Fla.), formerly Brooksville Regional Hospital
• Bayfront Health Dade City (Fla.), formerly Pasco Regional Medical Center
• Bayfront Health Port Charlotte (Fla.), formerly Peace River Regional Medical Center
• Bayfront Health Punta Gorda (Fla.), formerly Charlotte Regional Medical Center
• Bayfront Health Spring Hill (Fla.), formerly Spring Hill Regional Hospital
• Bayfront Health St. Petersburg (Fla.), formerly Bayfront Medical Center
• Venice (Fla.) Regional Medical Center, which will retain its name but add “an Affiliate of Bayfront Health” to its title.
