An appeals hearing between ProMedica and the Federal Trade Commission has been scheduled for Feb. 6.

The hearing, which was filed for on Jan. 9, is related to ProMedica’s acquisition of St. Luke’s Hospital in Maumee, Ohio, in 2010.

An administrative judge recently upheld the FTC ruling that found the transaction anti-competitive. The FTC ultimately wants divesture to an approved acquirer within six months of its final decision.
