Sachin H. Jain, MD. President and CEO of CareMore Health Plan. Dr. Jain is responsible for CareMore Health Plan, subsidiary of Anthem that spans eight states. He previously served as the company’s CMO and COO, and before joining CareMore, served as chief medical information and innovation officer for Merck & Co. During the Obama Administration, Dr. Jain was the senior advisor to Acting CMS Secretary Donald Berwick, MD, and first deputy director for policy and programs at CMS’ Center for Medicare and Medicaid Innovation. He also served as special assistant to former National Coordinator for Health Information Technology David Blumenthal, MD. The National Minority Quality Forum recognized Dr. Jain with the 40 Under 40 Leaders in Health Award for 2017.
