Jay Bhatt, DO. Senior Vice President and CMO of the American Hospital Association (Chicago). In addition to his roles as senior vice president and CMO of the American Hospital Association, Dr. Bhatt is president and CEO of the Health Research and Educational Trust. He has a long career of accomplishments, including time spent as the first chief health officer of the Illinois Health and Hospital Association and managing deputy commissioner and chief innovation officer for the Chicago Department of Public Health. He lead Healthy Chicago implementation, an initiative that cemented the city’s public health agenda. The National Minority Quality Forum recognized Dr. Bhatt with the 40 Under 40 Leaders in Health Award for 2017.
