Fatima Paruk, MD. CMO of Allscripts Analytics (Chicago). Dr. Paruk uses analytics to increase efficiency, effectiveness and improve health outcomes for Allscripts Analytics. She is responsible for driving innovation in population health analytics that increase efficiency and effectiveness while improving outcomes. Her recent work to identify and treat at-risk chronic disease patients has inspired her to lead a team of data scientists to develop new algorithms that identify the trajectory of diabetes and inform methods of early disease identification. After Dr. Paruk witnessed a terror attack in Kenya, Africa, in 2013, she served as a medical incident commander and helped stabilize 175 wounded individuals. After the attack she was an integral part of drafting the National Emergency Medical Services Policy, which revolutionized emergency care in Kenya.
