Bert Beard. CEO of Maria Parham Medical Center (Henderson, N.C.). Mr. Beard became CEO of the 102-bed Maria Parham Medical Center in August 2016 after spending two years as COO of Wilson (N.C.) Medical Center. He started an $81 million hospital renovation during his time at Wilson Medical Center and played a key part in the expansion of the hospital’s interventional cardiology program. He has previous experience as associate administrator and assistant chief staffing officer at Hermitage, Tenn.-based Summit Medical Center. Mr. Beard previously served almost four years as associate administrator and interim COO at Manatee Memorial Hospital in Bradenton, Fla.
