Ameet Nanda. Vice President of Specialty Services and Site Administrator, Pacific Campus for Sutter Health. (Sacramento, Calif.). Mr. Nanda was appointed vice president of specialty services and site administrator in April 2017. In this role, he oversees operations and strategy for service lines such as transplantation, cardiovascular and neurosciences services. He previously deployed Lean across the health system’s West Bay Region and spearheaded creative initiatives to redistribute billing staff at the system’s medical foundation and accelerate cash flow, leading to a $1.5 million gain. He also helped Sutter reduce HIM/coding lead time from 4.5 days to 2.5 days, which resulted in a $1.2 million increase in cash-on-hand and a 50 percent improvement in on-time starts for surgical cases.
