Michael Loftus, MD. Associate Chief Quality Officer of NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell (New York City). Dr. Loftus currently serves in two capacities: as associate chief quality officer and as an assistant professor of radiology at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell. Through his professorship, he was named Quality and Patient Safety Chair and Quality Improvement Chair for Weill Cornell’s department of radiology. In addition to receiving numerous teaching awards, he was chosen for the American College of Radiology’s E. Stephen Amis, Jr., MD, Fellowship in Quality and Safety in 2010. Dr. Loftus holds both his medical degree and MBA from New York City-based Columbia University.
