The hospital’s overall ED patient satisfaction ranking was in the 98th percentile from October to December 2016, according to an emailed release.

WHMC partnered with HealthStream, which offers patient satisfaction solutions, shortly after opening in 2014. It was also the first hospital in Texas to receive HealthStream’s Excellence through Insight award for Overall Emergency Department Patient Experience for medium-sized hospitals in 2015.

“Our hospital was designed to be a place where individuals could receive advanced medicine with personalized, compassionate care,” WHMC CEO Cory Countryman said in a statement. “Our vow is to do everything we can to ensure that each patient’s experience meets or exceeds their expectations. This honor proves that we’re living up to our promise.”
