Valley View Medical Center (Cedar City, Utah). A part of Salt Lake City-based Intermountain Healthcare, Valley View Medical Center has been named one of Truven Health Analytics’ 100 Top Hospitals six times, most recently in 2015. The 48-bed hospital opened on its current campus in 2003, but has a history dating back to 1963 when it replaced the old Iron County Hospital. Valley View Medical Center has earned the Outstanding Patient Experience Award from Healthgrades for three years in a row, most recently in 2015.
