West Virginia has the highest percentage of adults living with diabetes in the U.S., according to a ranking from the Kaiser Family Foundation.

The data is based on an analysis of the CDC’s Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System 2013-2018 survey results.

Here are the U.S. states ranked by adults who report having diabetes:
