States ranked by percentage of adults with asthma

West Virginia has the highest percentage of adults who suffer from asthma in the country, according to a new ranking from the Kaiser Family Foundation.

The data is based on an analysis of CDC’s Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System 2013-2018 survey results.

Here are the 50 states ranked by adults who report having asthma:

1. West Virginia — 12.3 percent

    Maine — 12.3 percent
