Healthcare and professional services have historically been the two leading industries in terms of job openings, and healthcare topped the list with the highest percentage of job openings this year. Within healthcare, home health and personal care aides have the highest growth forecasts in 2019. However, both professions have relatively low median salaries compared to other medical jobs.
