HCA, Cleveland Clinic among world's most ethical companies 2019

Six hospitals and health systems were ranked among the world's "Most Ethical Companies 2019" by The Ethisphere Institute.

This year's rankings, released Feb. 26, include 128 companies from 21 countries and 50 industries. The list is based on the Ethisphere Institute's Ethics Quotient framework, which quantitatively measures a company's performance.

The six healthcare providers ranked among the "World's Most Ethical Companies":

Baptist Health South Florida (Miami)
Cleveland Clinic
Garnet Health (Middletown, N.Y.)
HCA Healthcare (Nashville, Tenn.)
University Hospitals (Cleveland)
Northwell Health (Great Neck, N.Y.)
