The Baldrige Award represents the nation’s only presidential award for performance excellence. The award is given annually to organizations that demonstrate organizational resilience and a dedication to addressing the nation’s most critical needs.
Chickasaw Nation Department of Health was recognized for its efforts to provide inpatient, outpatient and population health services across 13 counties in southern Oklahoma, according to an Oct. 10 news release. Chickasaw Nation Medical Center in Ada received five stars in CMS’ Overall Hospital Quality Star Ratings for 2024, among other notable accomplishments.
This year’s other Baldrige Award winners include Alamo Colleges District; the city of Henderson, Nev.; Freese and Nichols, an engineering and consulting firm; and Northeast Delta Dental.
