Nordic countries and Switzerland came out on top for best work-life balance whereas the UAE, Hong Kong and Malaysia had the most overworked cities.
The top American cities on the list were Seattle at No. 32, Portland, Ore., at No. 33, and Minneapolis at No. 35. New York slid down the list from No. 38 in 2021 to No. 59 in 2022, and Los Angeles sat at No. 78, down from No. 46 in 2021.
