LinkedIn examined how employees are upskilling and advancing within these companies and noted their length of stay in order to formulate the ranking. Companies that have laid off 10 percent or more of their workforce in the past year are not eligible.

These six healthcare companies — including health systems, insurance companies, and pharmaceutical and medical equipment manufacturers — were ranked in the top 50. They are listed next to their cross-industry ranking and headquarter’s location below:

7. UnitedHealth Group (Minnetonka, Minn.)

10. Kaiser Permanente (Oakland, Calif.)

24. Edward Lifesciences (Irvine, Calif.)

33. Eli Lilly (Indianapolis)

41. Bristol Myers Squibb (New York City)

43. Medtronic (Minneapolis)

At the Becker's 11th Annual IT + Revenue Cycle Conference: The Future of AI & Digital Health, taking place September 14–17 in Chicago, healthcare executives and digital leaders from across the country will come together to explore how AI, interoperability, cybersecurity, and revenue cycle innovation are transforming care delivery, strengthening financial performance, and driving the next era of digital health.
