The nonpartisan Center for Political Accountability in Washington, D.C., found Becton, Dickinson & Co. in Franklin Lakes, N.J., ranked among U.S. companies with the most transparency regarding political contributions.

The nonprofit center’s 2017 CPA-Zicklin Index of Corporate Political Disclosure and Accountability reviewed corporate political spending policies and practices of the S&P 500 as of April 18. The Center for Political Accountability’s 100-point index scores companies using publicly available information.
