10 best California nursing schools for 2018

Nurse.org ranked the 10 best nursing schools in California, which employs the highest number of nurses in the U.S., according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics.

California employs more than 270,000 nurses statewide and has the highest average wages for nursing in the country, with nurses earning an average of $101,750. To compile the list, Nurse.org gathered data on tuition, admission rate, degree programs and awards.

Here are the 10 best nursing schools in California for 2018, according to Nurse.org.

No. 1 — UC Los Angeles

No. 2 — California State University in Sacramento

No. 3 — San Francisco State University

No. 4 — California State University in Fullerton

No. 5 — UC Irvine

No. 6 — San Diego State University

No. 7 — Mount Saint Mary’s University (Los Angeles)

No. 8 — California State University in Long Beach

No. 9 — Sonoma State University (Rohnert Park)

No.10 — California State University in Bakersfield
