UCSF Radiology names quality, safety leader

The University of California San Francisco has named Rajesh Shah, MD, associate chair for quality and safety within its department of radiology and biomedical imaging.

Dr. Shah is a professor of clinical radiology and serves as director of clinical trials, according to a Sept. 14 news release from the university.

He joined UCSF in 2024 from San Francisco-based California Pacific Medical Center, where he served as director of interventional radiology. He previously served as interim chief of radiology at the VA Palo Alto (Calif.) Health Care System.
