Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center El Paso’s medical school has named Eric Rohren, MD, PhD, dean.
Dr. Rohren is chairman of the radiology department at the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston and a radiologist specializing in cancer imaging. He will step into his new role as the third dean of the Paul L. Foster School of Medicine on Oct. 1, according to a June 5 university news release.
He succeeds Richard Lange, MD, who will remain president of the Texas Tech Health El Paso campus.
